7 REASONS WHY YOU HAVE TO KEEP GOING

If you need stop

Why did you start after all?

If discouragement needs come

Why would you welcome

If isolation be a man

Why would you befriend

If inferiority complex be a drug

Why would you swallow?

If risk be task

Why would you fallback

If failure be a success, like a step

Why would you not climb again?

If knowledge be a woman

Why not marry early

Where all can indeed be grateful and yet envious of you

Praising and yet degrading you

Reminding you of the law of vibration

Which makes not one way straight

Believing that one day

Just one day, all would be alright.

YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THIS 5 YRS OLD BOY CAN DO

Like mountain Everest
Which knows not how far it has gone
To establish itself as the highest mountain of all
Which shall be remembered until then?
His teacher’s lessons he teach
In and out of the day
Where opinion leaders
Leave not his doorpost until witty sayings they hear
After which he would go and dine with Kings
Enlightening them on the way forward
Which since he has learn from the holy scrolls
Abandoned by many
Who chase the wind and eat dust
Yet to which they are not satisfied
In that repeatedly they try
But to no avail and vanity instead
Ending at where they start
Which yet he would not
And clothing himself with wisdom
Just like the ‘Dawner’
Who sleeps with old and bad
Habits and information
Waking up with new ones like the lily flower
Ever looking fresh
Which would remind him to say?

“If love be a substance, to every person and the taste it would have”
“If wisdom be a cave, only the humbled would go through”
“If anger be a fire, it would not stop smoking the heart that expects always”
“If happiness be a drug, to them that would know bad and yet do good can afford it”
“If death be a woman, only the righteous would be a bachelor for long”

7 REASONS WHY PREZ MUHAMMADU BUHARI COULD HAUNT DOWN BOKO HARAM IN NIGERIA

We eat yet our mouths shut, sleeping yet our eyes open
Days our daughters sake we dust ourselves, our doors are open
Where our father watched from afar
Now he dines with us, not from afar
For once he lived with a military
Ages nowhere near, our enemies, his complementary
Which foundations he builds upon from our Uncle
Who came and did little about our broken ankle
To which our father now vow to heal forever
More bandage, P.O.P’s, spirited alcohol, drugs, stopping never
Watching him build our new homes on rocks
And our enemies hideouts on sandy blocks
Which he alone cannot but his friends’ aid
As our enemies countless, their canker, only our fathers aid

WHEN I HEAR OF LOVE

That substance that would send me thinking
Believing I can fly over the moons someday
Sue the Sun for my lover’s sake
And instil discipline among the stars
Where they could only wish and yet have my final say
In real times and virtual times
How I wish I could begin the entire journey again
To as always smell its astonishing fragrance in full?
Reminding me of real good moments
Where my love would mention my name all day long
Yet would just be the beginning
Never tired to repeat it at least
Ringing always
Texting never seizing
My lover is rather too unique to compare
To think of striking a difference between another lass
For much too differences to talk about
When I hear of Love
My heart beats
For I fear my lover might one day leave me
And cling into hands tag my foes
Then I will cry over the whole River Nile
Yes, I could possibly do
Or am I being wrong here?

HUSSTLING IN THE RAIN

Of all the best times in life
Where the ant triumphs and yet keeps on searching for food
If man has to do something
Then it is to keep focus always
Thriving and thriving always
Doing what he knows best
Never stopping a moment
Through day and nights
With all hopes and faith put together
To reach one day the desired location
Goals among others now and forevermore
Knowing no changing of times nor seasons
But working hard surely
To be best or among the best perhaps
It’s never easy starting
Neither is it difficult to quit
Just what man would achieve one day
It is all nice though to give it a try

THE JOURNEY TO UNDERTAKE

I have heard that the brave are not easily defeated

The warriors of our land are hard to compromise, not even Google

The journey of a thousand miles start with a single step, yes, Amazon stocks would remind

If I need humble myself and take it one after another, remind me,

If Duckduckgo would search wide than Google

Yet not known as much

Yes, if it all starts with a single step

It would be continued and completed with many footsteps already taken notice of

To he that is in haste

To he that thinks no need to continue

Togbe Klikor would demand maybe

“What pushed you to start at the first place?

What inspired you to start at the first place?

To them that resign to fate, not long enough to continue after all”

I say ‘Ayekoo, Ayekoo, Ayekoo’ to those on the journey

Which I just began so strongly

DVSLONLINE

Where the great and villains

Mighty swords and shield of Spartacus days

Which would fight present wars like the Greek?

Friends of ‘Cuntator’

And would later change minds and hearts

Into something new and adorable

Pleasant to the minds yet not deep into the hearts

There, there, just right there

Dvsl

If ever the brave would think of moving

Considering their might and power

To conquer the invisibles

Which waits for the immortals to sound the trumpet?

To note the initiation of yet another group ready for battle

With swords of words

Deep and insightful contents like shields

Would fall to fate?

Dvsl

From the East to the West

Ranging from fire to lake of fires

Hotter than the word itself

Dvslonline

If it is in the Polar Regions

I dine with frozen weathers

Where it pains like truth to let out

Few yet faithful to gather at a time

Dvslonline

If the eyes have seen something

Wait, it is a beginning of a new chapter

Yes, I know

Nevertheless, not much could be done

Than the rolling of truth

No compromising

Yes! Forward Dvsl,

Forward DVSLONLINE

Hail you live forever!!!

MY EYES CLOSED

Yes, I have seen more than enough

If Mama Esi

“Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”

Yes, I know

Nevertheless I am not moved

To succumb to simple beauties

Which inwards have acclaimed isolation and rejection

If rotten be a word, it is

If I fight for what fades as blinking my eyes does

Then I sleep like no others business

Of course yes

My eyes closed

To avoid temptations

Which only I know myself

Yes, I know

Efo Kodzo

“Not all glitters is gold”

So I will close my eyes

Yes, not to even look

No! Watch or rethink about whatsoever

Why? My eyes are closed

MY LITTLE HOPE

This only grows in the times the flood run and run over my humble house

Which was there before the dawn of ages?

To serve as a home to all that may possible pass by

Sojourn to places they would not remember

Talk of recounting a story from here

Where thousands would have slept and dine before

Bringing back home their lost treasures

O f all goods and goodies

So beautiful and majestic to adore in insight

For the kings sake

Who would know full well he could possible rule till end

If only I am correct

If it be a plant,

It shall not cease wet

For such make the hunter

Leaving early as he could

To the forest of many animals and things to hunt

But few to lay hands on legally

To remain focus at least

Why

Il n’est pas facile

When great men sit to see

Stand yet you

Not to see

My little hope

Which dries in the raining season?

Like a saliva

From the north-east trade wind door post

Which finally happens to wet it?

Growing it little by little

That someday

Rain possibly

It’s all about my little hope.

FOOD FOR THE GANDER

Happily as it could be always

For the goose

Surely taking what it may present

When I could possibly see

Days when I did the same

Of taking up Uncle Joe dangling lifestyle

Which I could remember quiet good to emulate

Since some goodies was supposed to be in there

For the family especially me

But not to realise

That what is good for the goose is good for the gander

No, no, no, what is good for the goose may not be good for the gander

When all yield different results

To think or upheld

In tons of thousands

Which only a foolish could revisit

Back when his foolishness is at peak

You could imagine not just good to after all

Since it never promised any good at the end

Oh yes, he did it to become a star

Which only would shoot at dawn or sometimes in the afternoon?

When the sun so dazzles and heats the grounds

Convincing me of the depletion of the ozone layer

Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh, yes

What is good for the goose?

May not be good for the gander

THE GROWING TREND

THE GROWING TREND

“I heard you are now a lawyer”

“Yes Togbe”

“You intend to change the course later too?”

“Yes Togbe”

“if you ever, think of this too

Days of old reigns from the dawn of ages

Where humanity has none

Than living with what it has?

You should be careful indeed

If you ask ‘Togbe Klikor’

He would tell you

The good speakers he bought

Has left him deaf

Whiles I cannot forget about ‘Devio Mama’

‘Mamaga   Asignon’

She claims she regretted

Having a wife as a husband

Very soon she will be here, yes,

I know

When you ask her

“I thought it was the growing trend”

Whereas you be met with the good and bad

Take heed you follow nature’s principles

Doing what ‘Togbe Sogbolisa’, ‘Fiawo dzi fia’, requires of you

Yes, I know. The growing trend”

“Yes Togbe”
